The Demand Driven Facility (DDF) under the Free Movement of Persons and Migration in West Africa II project (FMM II) is a dynamic platform designed to support national institutions across ECOWAS Member States and Mauritania in strengthening migration governance and capacity development. Funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), with additional support from the Government of Denmark, the DDF provides flexible, tailored technical assistance, helping institutions respond to evolving migration challenges with expertise, tools, and resources to design and implement effective, innovative, and sustainable migration management systems aligned with regional and international frameworks.
The DDF invites eligible government national institutions from the ECOWAS region and Mauritania to apply by submitting a completed Request Form: English - French - Portuguese. To support the implementation of these tailored actions, the DDF welcomes applications from experienced professionals with an advanced degree in migration studies, international human rights law, public policy, social sciences, international development, or related fields, and a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in migration-related areas with a focus on capacity development and policy development across West Africa.
